Guide - Storage

When the winter season comes to an end you should put a little effort into storing your skis or snowboard correctly.

  • Clean them to get all the seasons grime off and then make sure they are fully dry before storage.
  • Loosen the binding screws on snowboards or better still take them off completely but make sure the screw holes are fully dry.
  • Ideally put a layer of wax on the base, make sure it's fully dry first but don’t scrape the wax off.
  • Store them without pressure on them and either flat or upright.
  • Store them in a cool and dry place without direct sunlight on them.
  • Sheds and garages are not the best place to store them as they can be damp and have big variances in temperature.

Or you can just sell them at the end of the season and get some new ones before the new season starts.
