This Kunzmann ceramic stone is designed to fit the awesome little edge trick but can be used hand held and is a specialist file used to give you a knife sharp edge on your side/base edge for great hold in ice and hard pack. It's aimed at the competitor that maintains their own equipment or a very advanced leisure skier or snowboarder. The technique is to actually make a straight and sharp edge by creating burr, giving you a knife style edge on the corner of your existing edge.
